The Urdu Neighbor Centre's staff will get in touch with the applicant to schedule a home visit. During the visit, they will consider the following factors:
1. The applicant's socio-economic status.
2. The extent of repairs needed.
3. The urgency of the repairs.
4. Services already accepted by the applicant.
The evaluation outcome will typically be communicated within a period of two weeks.

Asfa Kabir為巴基斯坦婦女，2004年跟隨同鄉丈夫來港定居，之後在土瓜灣參與烏都鄰舍中心義務工作，期間深覺在港語言溝通的重要性，所以努力學習英文及簡單的廣東話，現時更參與了翻譯的工作，將英文、中文翻譯為烏都語，幫助新來港的同鄉學習，以及致力幫助他們適應及融入香港的生活。
