Apply for Minor Home Maintenance and Repair
The Urdu Neighbor Centre's staff will get in touch with the applicant to schedule a home visit. During the visit, they will consider the following factors:
- The applicant's socio-economic status.
- The extent of repairs needed.
- The urgency of the repairs.
- Services already accepted by the applicant.
The evaluation outcome will typically be communicated within a period of two weeks.
Neighbour Training Centre –
development/pre-employment project for SEN/EM youth
The project aims to enhance the employability of Non-Chinese and SEN students through provision of training and internship opportunities in baking. Apart from baking classes, the participants will also receive soft skills training, including self-understanding and awareness, teamwork, communication skills, and customer services.
Trainees with good performance will be selected for in-depth training (e.g. digital marketing) and internship opportunities at a food factory and physical/online shops. Training allowance will be provided to the participants during the internship. Outstanding bakery products will be put on sale at the venture’s online and physical shops.
